The ATG OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER course provides responder training on cleanups and remediation at industrial sites, superfund action sites, and voluntary cleanups and RCRA corrective involving hazardous substances. Training includes hazard recognition, evaluation for chemical and general site safety concerns. You will review the technology used to monitor and detect hazardous materials, how to control and contain chemical spills, establish a decontamination process, select and PPE among a wide variety of other subjects.
This course offers training in mobile crane characteristics, inspections, load charts, set-up, evaluating loads and other key aspects of operations. Individuals will understand how to perform a pre-lift evaluation, walk the load route, anticipate hazards, mitigate hazards and prepare for a safe lift. Training will also be provided in ANSI hand signals, how to use, send and receive them effectively, especially in situations when the load is not in the operators line of sight.
FIRST AID / CPR / AED
ATG will provide First-Aid training on how to care for wounds, cuts, avulsions, amputations, broken bones as well as, drug overdoses, electric shock, strokes, heart attacks and more. Participants will also learn how to properly perform Adult CPR and Adults how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
